Ans. The poet came twice awake when the old woman opened her bag.

2.      What would happen to the poet if he failed to make the promise?
Ans. The poet would die if he failed to make the promise.

3.      What was it that altered the poet?
Ans. The dream altered the poet by bringing his heart close to the oak trees.

4.      Where did the poet creep in?
Ans. The poet crept into an Oakwood.

5.      How was the old woman look?
Ans. The old woman had with her all knobbly stick and rag.

6.      Why did the poet begin to quake?
Ans. The poet began to quake as the old woman began to cackle.

7.      What did the poet promise to do?
Ans. The poet promised to plant two trees whenever he would see an oak-tree felled.

8.      Where did the poet dream this?
Ans. The poet dreamt this beneath the boughs of oak trees.

9.      What was the child looking for?
Ans. The child was looking for stag.

10.  Whom did the poet meet in the forest? What did she say?
Ans. The poet met an old woman in the forest. She said that she had his secret there inside her little bag.

11.  How did the dream alter poet?
Ans. The poet came to know that trees are his own true family. Therefore, on his way back he was a human child in form, but a tree at heart.
